Taking Kare of Our Own

We are dedicated to creating tangible solutions for Champions to sustain healthy, wealthy and purposeful lives during and after their boxing careers.

With minimal health and wealth education and no pension, many fighters end up with serious financial and health issues; some homeless with CTE symptoms. Champs are heroes of the people. They deserve to live a life of honour in and out of the ring.

Our mission is to partner with boxing organisations, artists, wellness practitioners and culture institutions to unite the Legends of boxing with people who are passionate about honouring the Champions legacy; creating lasting impact, wealth and wellbeing for the past, present and future of boxing. Let’s come together and make sure these heroes grow old with honour.

FAQs

  • We are an initiative who partners with nonprofits, charities, people and organisations to support the Champions of boxing. We aim to connect Champs with wellness experts and wealth generating opportunities through exhibitions, productions and collaborations.

  • The vision for this project came from WBC former Light Heavyweight World Champion boxer Donny “Golden Boy” Lalonde. He has been passionately advocating for issues related to wellness and trauma since the 70s, namely through his awareness campaign “No Excuse for Child Abuse”. Lalonde’s daughter, Bailey, has joined forces with her father to bring this vision to life through creative partnerships and productions; after leading a number of professional fine art exhibitions and collaborations worldwide, on behalf of several nonprofits. The aim of T.K.O.O. is to bring awareness to the circumstances many Champions face in retirement; supporting the legends of boxing.

Why T.K.O.O.?

“These icons of sport deserve to live a life of health and wealth after what they give.”

— Donny Lalonde

“Champs are of the kindest, most gentle humans I’ve met. They’ve earned legacies of honour.”

— Bailey Lalonde
